About RuVal

Rubin Cuffee is the President and Co-Founder of RuVal Enterprises, Inc., a seasoned marketing and business management professional with deep expertise in leadership development, performance management, and financial operations. His career includes senior roles at IBM and Lockheed Martin. At Lockheed, he managed multimillion-dollar portfolios and earned Lockheed Martin’s prestigious NOVA Award, recognized for his strong track record of guiding teams to exceed performance expectations.

With over 40 years of church leadership experience, including 25 years as a Trustee and Board Chairman, Rubin brings rare depth across both the strategic and operational dimensions of ministry. He managed the construction of a 65,000-square-foot church facility, oversaw the AV/IT infrastructure specifications, and led the congregation’s digital transformation during COVID-19. His governance contributions include co-authoring governing documents, managing the incorporation, establishing the church’s first board of directors, refinancing loans, and leading a global pastoral search as head of the discernment team. He is the author of Discovering Your Next Pastor: Leveraging Faith and Technology, a practical resource for churches navigating the pastoral search process.

Rubin is also the founder and producer of Living Among Greatness, a powerful short-form documentary series that celebrates the unsung heroes within the African American community, a testament to his lifelong commitment to honoring legacy and elevating voices.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Norfolk State University (1983) and a Certificate in International Contracting from George Washington University (1993). In April 2026, he earned the Certified Church Consultant designation from Church Consultant University. He is also a Certified Competent Coach and a John Maxwell Leadership Coach. Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Rubin lives with his wife, Valerie, in Northern Virginia.
