Rubin Cuffee

Rubin Cuffee brings a wealth of experience to his roles as a business and life coach, entrepreneur, author, photographer, and live media producer. Specializing in guiding both early and mid-career professionals and organizations, he helps them achieve holistic success while also enhancing their personal brand. Since 2001, Rubin has been a reliable support system, aiding individuals in navigating the complexities of their careers, family life, and personal aspirations across diverse sectors, including corporate, government, and private settings.

 

What distinguishes Rubin is his genuine passion for igniting positive change. He has a natural talent for inspiring exploration, revealing hidden passions, and fostering meaningful transformations. Rubin's approach is centered on aligning lives with purpose, uncovering new horizons, and empowering individuals and organizations to realize their full potential and achieve their dreams.

 

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Rubin has held a senior management position at Lockheed Martin Corporation. Here, he played a pivotal role in shaping successful strategies for an $8 billion portfolio, showcasing his strategic foresight and leadership skills that were crucial in driving the organization's growth and accomplishments.

 

Rubin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Norfolk State University and holds certifications as a Certified Competent Coach from the School of Coaching Mastery and a John Maxwell Leadership Coach from Crowned Ministries International.

 

His diverse creative pursuits, including writing, photography, and live media production, mirror his multifaceted passions and significantly enrich his coaching practice. Through these endeavors, Rubin offers clients a comprehensive and relatable journey toward both personal and professional fulfillment.

Valerie C. Cuffee

Valerie C. Cuffee, currently serves on the faculty at George Mason University where she teaches administration, leadership, direct clinical practice, and social policy courses to develop graduate students for competent and responsible social work practice. 

Before joining George Mason University, Valerie served as the Social Services Director/Chief of Child and Family Services, in the Department of Human Services, Arlington, VA. She gained 27 cumulative years experience providing excellent clinical services; leading and developing staff; and directing, planning, and evaluating programs to increase safety and improve the lives of children and their families within a large, urban, ethnically diverse, community.

 

She co-developed and co-led Project PEACE to address family violence and established the Commonwealth’s first local government based Child Advocacy Center to enhance safety and coordinate expedient services to children that experienced sexual and/or severe physical abuse. She successfully served as interim Executive Director of the Community Services Board and was recognized statewide as a child and family services leader where she served on program planning and evaluation and staff development committees, testified before the State Board of Social Services, and participated in hiring panels for state and other local governments.

Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hampton University, Hampton, VA, and a Master of Social Work degree from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA. She received certification as a Public Manager (CPM) from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.  Valerie is licensed to practice clinical social work in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

The Cuffees produce conferences and special events and facilitate workshops regionally and internationally for businesses, civic organizations, and non-profits.
